It was originaly Foreplay but from what I found out was that they had to change the spelling because one of the local bars would not advertise them as Foreplay, therefore it remained as Fourplay.....

Biography
Foreplay formed in 1979 Selkirk High Thunder Bay. George Gardiman (Guitar , Bass, Vocals), Steve Lazar (Drums, Vocals) Brian Ross, (Guitar, Vocals) Tony Scaffeo (Vocals, Drums), and for a short while Danny Jordan (Vocals, Keyboards) later vocalist for Roadhouse. Brian died in a motorcycle accident early 80's. Danny went on to sing for Roadhouse, Steve played in various bands and is still living in T.Bay Tony continued to play in several bands with George, Bart and Ralph Santorelli.( Kickin', Tillerman ) He opened his own stereo shop in mid 80's Stereo City for a short time. As of the mid 90's he has been living in Calgary managing several audio stores. George went on to play Bass with a number of bands and musicians. Private Eyes and most notably Nasty Habits.
