Biography
After leaving Thunder Bay for the last time in 1992, Joe began the migration west. Stopping in Winnipeg for 18 months, he jammed with some very good muso's including Ric Buckovy who had left T Bay a few years earlier to play with Sockethead R.I.P.
Anyway, the 'Peg just couldn't keep his interest so he headed to the west coast in '93. It took a little while to settle but he has been playing in a number of bands since arriving. The most recent project has also been his most enduring one to date and after several years of line up changes and false starts he is happy to be an integral part of an original band called 'keepers'.
Joe would like to invite all his past friends and acquaintances to check out their websites and sample some of what he has been up to for the last 2 or 3 years.
Okay so I thought I might have been done starting new bands and writing new material with new people but alas, keepers lead singer (and I use the term loosely, came down with LSD (lead singer's disease) around the same time as he saddled the band with a small, but none the less avoidable debt from a New Year's gig that should have left the band with some money. So onward and upward, I am on to his newest project with the former drummer of keepers, who is a prolific songwriter and absolute nutter!
I am leaving the keepers info up on this site as they contain a whole lot of music I wrote but don't care to put up against the new works as I do not wish to distract the listener. So please check out Safari Mark and the Pantless Johnnies on our new site at....
