Biography

Since the mid 1990's, Jordan Lester has been in a very wide range of groups.

He began in a band called 'Operation Tony X'. That band used to practice in Rodney Brown's studio. From there, Jordan became a guitarist for the Speedway Detectives. He was eventually kicked out of the band for not being punk rock enough. He went on to start The Communists along with Mike Bone and John de Bakker. There, under the alias 'Castro', he acted as singer and guitarist for the group. The Communists have played hundreds of shows over the years, and have released numerous albums. In 2000, Jordan was asked to join the already established Cheepshot. As the Bass player, and under the new alias "Jordan Precision," Jordan wrote many of the songs along with KP Merkley. The band saw much success until they folded under legal issues concerning their 2002 release, "This World". Along with Cheepshot drummer Ryan Ketchum, Jordan formed a group with Dave Angell and Rob Cooney. Oak as they were called played only one show until Ryan injured himself severly and could no longer play music. Teaming up with Mike Bone again, in 2003, 3F Innovasion formed. This time, under the new alias "Professor Glo," Jordan entered the realm of hip hop music. The band has released two albums. Jordan eventually moved to Halifax for school and there, was invited to sing and play Bass for 'The 92 J's'.
