Biography

Mouth was a four piece hard rock band that was active from 92-95. They played frequently at Crocks 'n' Rolls and started to garner a lot of local attention after winning two battle of the bands in the same year. The money helped to finance the cost of a self-titled CD that they recorded at Superhero Studios with Dan Zupansky engineering. Two tracks from the CD "Floorasher" and "Pile" were in regular rotation on Rock 94FM and were also included on a local compilation CD that featured current Thunder Bay bands.

Mouth's music drew from the current alternative sound and the classic guitar rock bands of the 70's. Grooves were hard driving and often progressive. Their live performances were noted for being significantly different then previous ones and always showcased new material. Live performances of their songs would usually feature instrumental sections and could often be clocked in over ten minutes plus. Members would sometimes rotate their roles on stage allowing each others strengths and individual contributions to be showcased.

Mouth is still considered by some as being one of the most original and solid acts to come out of the Thunder Bay music scene.

Members went on to form bands like "The Well" and "Apollo Groove Shuttle".
