201 Syndicate
As it appeared in the Sunny's Cavern era
Burton Cummings in the Club Soda era

Location

201 Syndicate Ave S, corner of Donald and Syndicate (north entrance)

Early history

Over the years, it has been known by the following names:

Never heard it called the Pacific Club, it was Buttons then Buttons II then Club Soda & Cardigans at the same time, two rooms. Feathers was located in the Nor Shor Inn on Memorial Ave.

As Club Soda it hosted bands such as Zappacosta, Nazareth, NEO-A4, Doug and the Slugs, Maclean&Maclean with Burton Cummings and Haywire to name a few. It also held a fundraiser to help with the CAT SCAN being purchased for the local hospital featuring Paul Shaffer and Hank Ballard & The Midnighters.

The Silver Saddle

The Silver Saddle was opened May 4th, 1995 by Bang Nguyen, who had previously managed The Golden Nugget and The Silverado until it burned down. The bar hosted live Country bands, and offered free line dancing lessons.

I think Bang was also involved with the Inn Towner at some point in the mid 80's

The Millennium

During the late 90s, this venue was known as The Millennium. Morbid Angel played here.

Sunny's Cavern

After the closure of The Millennium, the bar re-opened as Sunny's Cavern, and was by all accounts a rough place. It was not a venue during this period.

Rockhouse

Rockhouse opened in 2008, and has brought in some major acts.
