The Expressway Lounge in 1984
It is now the Ramada Inn, but the Expressway lounge was originally a Disco Bar in the 70's, it had a Lightshow Dance floor. Lots of local and big name acts played there. Became a video store in the late 80s and is now the liquor store.
The importance of this bar in the 80's was huge...lineups most nights, good bands always until new owners cut the band budget. It was just a matter of time until it closed after the cuts.
