The Kickaz was a creative outlet for Ben and Keith Baxter in the early stages. The band existed in fake stories on the band's website, and only ever played together to record albums. The songs were created on the spot with Ben improvising lyrics and chord progressions and Brian and Keith following, making the music very difficult to reproduce live (which they never did). The result is the recorded music, which was very unique and sometimes humourous. Ben did play one gig of music very similar to The Kickaz (under the band's name) with friend Chris Oldham on drums. The music is no longer posted online, but can be obtained by contacting Keith Baxter.
