Biography
Tony's guitar playing combines many genres of music, including folk, classical, rock and sacred. His guitar style has been described as dynamic, colorful, and rhythmic.
His journey to playing flamenco began with a chance meeting at a coffee house in Thunder Bay. Esteban was performing, and later the two made a connection that ended in professional collaboration. Since 1999, the two guitar soul mates have been continuing to fuse their talents into a unique Latino groove. Tony began his musical training at the age of twelve, with his studies of folk, classical and rock guitar. This afforded him an opportunity to perform with various bands and groups in Thunder Bay.
His involvement in the community has included playing with various choirs in the sacred setting. The passing on of Tony's experience in music is one of his passions. His students appreciate his understanding of the many genres of guitar music, not only acoustic but the electric as well.
